Upbeat Revue is a brand-new live music and comedy special, heading to theatre stages across NSW. Upbeat Revue marks James' return to national touring, revisiting many of the venues he sold out with his hit comedy show Afternoons Tonight in 2016 and 2018.

Acclaimed Australian jazz saxophonists Sandy Evans and Andrew Robson announce the release of their debut album as Evans Robson Quartet, Zenith, on Friday, June 13, 2025. Featuring Brett Hirst (bass) and Hamish Stuart (drums), Zenith is a dynamic and expressive modern jazz album, balancing lyrical melodies with deep grooves, fiery improvisations, and moments of serene beauty.

His current quartet has now adopted Volant as a band name, and it’s the perfect moniker for an outfit that can glide and soar as naturally as a flock of birds…. But this is a band that also knows how to groove – even over odd meters and fitful rhythms.
